FAQ

Questions, answered

The things new clients ask most. If yours is not here, call us and we will talk it through.

Do I need an evaluation before training?+

Yes. All training requires a free 1-hour evaluation first. We meet your dog, talk through your goals, and recommend the right program before anything is scheduled.

What training methods do you use?+

Balanced, reward-focused training. We build behaviors with food, praise, and play, then add clear, fair boundaries so your dog knows what to expect in real-world situations.

What vaccinations does my dog need?+

Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella are required for  board & trains. Please bring records to your first visit or email them ahead of time.

How early should I book grooming?+

Most weeks fill one to two weeks out, and holiday weeks fill faster. Standing appointments every 4 to 8 weeks are available for regular clients.

What is included in a board & train stay?+

Boarding, two to three training sessions per day, structured rest, socialization where appropriate, progress videos, and two owner transfer lessons after pickup.

Can I visit my dog during board & train?+

We ask for no visits outside of the scheduled weekly private session during their board & train so your dog can settle.

Do you work with aggressive or reactive dogs?+

Yes, after an in-person evaluation. Bite-history cases are handled privately with a customized plan rather than group or shared spaces.

What is your cancellation policy?+

Appointments cancelled 12-24 hours before the scheduled appointment will forfeit the deposit. Anything cancelled 12 hours or less before the appointment, or a no-show, will be charged 100% of the scheduled appointment cost.

Do you offer puppy programs?+

We do. Puppy intro grooms start at 8 weeks after the first vaccine round, and private puppy foundations cover crate training, potty routines, socialization and more.
